The two days spent engaging with inspirational females on the Women in Leadership trek was an opportunity to discover what I can do to change the conversation and help bring true equality to business.
The Business School organized a business engagement trek for MBA and MSc students to visit Dublin. Over 3 non-stop days, we met finance and tech companies and alumni and learned about the skills that businesses are looking for in successful employees.
Our MBAs gain global experience and professional development through a range of projects throughout the MBA programme. This week our MBAs are in Colombia where they will spend time with organisations in Bogota and Medellin to uncover the challenges facing businesses and leaders in different cultural, economic and social contexts.
What comes to your mind when you think of Iceland? Before visiting the country, I would say ”cold”, ”volcanic ash” and ”economic crisis”. But, the 5-day Edinburgh MBA Trek to Iceland altered my perception completely and provided me with an unforgettable experience.
Earlier this month staff and students from the Business School embarked on a Career Trek to Aberdeen, the operational heart of UK oil and gas, to hear insights from experts about the future of the industry and the diverse organisations operating within the sector.
