Preparing our students for their future careers

As a prospective student, you will be keen to find out about the career support offered at the Business Schools you are interested in.  It’s an area we’ve invested in heavily in recent years, and with the creation of our dedicated Student Development Team, we offer a comprehensive programme of professional development throughout the academic year.

Meet the Student Development Team

This programme stretches beyond careers advice and guidance, encompassing in-depth activities that will help you shape your skills, discover your full potential and ultimately equip you to identify and achieve your career goals.

This means, that as a student at the School you can expect to benefit from activities such as on-programme projects, guest speakers, one-to-one career discussions, psychometric assessments, strengths profiling and practitioner workshops. Some of these activities are embedded into the MSc programmes, while others are available for students to engage with as part of your broader Business School experience.

We feel that this development will be of huge benefit to our students, giving you a competitive edge in the job market and preparing you confidently for your next steps beyond graduation.

Our alumni and network of industry contacts are closely involved in shaping and delivering our professional development events and activities, so you can be confident that you will be prepared for industry and have significant opportunity to build your own professional global networks.

Our Student Development Team bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge, coming from backgrounds in Investment Banking Recruitment, Financial Services, Training and Development and international student experience – so you can be sure the guidance and development you receive is well informed and industry relevant!
